Grief
Grief is a normal response to loss. Losses can include the death of someone close, the end of a relationship, the loss of meaningful employment, or losses experienced in childhood as a result of neglect or abuse. Grief can involve many different emotions, including sadness, depression, anger, shame or guilt. Psychotherapy can be helpful when a person’s grief is interfering with their ability to function and to move forward with their lives in a healthy way.
