About Us

The Centre for Treatment of Sexual Abuse and Childhood Trauma was established in 1991 to provide individual, family and couples therapy for individuals who have been sexually abused or otherwise traumatized or stressed by life experiences. The Centre for Treatment is an incorporated registered charity which participates in advocacy for survivors of trauma and abuse, promotes public awareness, and offers training and education to professionals. In particular, the Centre is respected and recognized by our colleagues in the mental health community for providing supervision and consultation to mental health professionals regarding the treatment of complex trauma and dissociative disorders as well as practicum training for graduate level university students in trauma-focused therapy.

The Centre upholds strict standards where discretion and confidentiality are assured. To find out more about our services, therapists and professional events, please explore this web site and contact us with any questions you may have.
